This dress is our miniature rendition inspired by a piece from Christian Dior/John Galliano's Autumn-Winter 2007-8 Haute Couture runway collection, which is also a celebration of Dior's 60th year anniversary. The theme for this collection is 'art throughout history'.

Crafted from and fully lined with very soft black and white silk satin, this balloon gown is decorated with hand embroidered details. The highlights of this dress are in the face embroidered in the bodice of the gown, as well as the white sequins that are concentrated towards the bottom but becomes scattered towards the top frosts the bottom of the gown. We use hundreds of high quality seed beads and sequins from Japan that shimmer when they catch the light. Closing with a zipper, the gown has a built-in pannier inside (and completely covered by) the silk satin lining to help retain the dress's full shape.

As each outfit is handmade, the embroidery for the dress may not be as exact as the sample photos, but will be very similar.
